Cupertino based Apple came out on the losing end of the latest ruling in its patent battle with Samsung.
U.S. District court Judge Lucy Koh rejected Apple's demand that 9 Samsung phones be banned in the U.S.
Apple lawyers argued that sales of older Samsung phones such as the Galaxy S3 would irreparably harm the company.
But Judge Koh said Apple has already gained enough in its legal war with Samsung.
In May, a federal jury ordered Samsung to pay Apple $120 million for copying technology from the iPhone.
