Speculations are rife that the government has chartered five aircraft from the Malaysian Airlines System Bhd’s charter division MAS Charter to facilitate a covert operation to fly Malaysians from Sabah to the peninsular in time for the May 5 general election.
Sources said the operations had begun on April 24 and an aircraft engineer had been seconded to oversee the maintenance of these unscheduled flights.
Sources here claimed that of the five planes that have been charted, three are Boeing B747 and two Airbus A330s.
According to sources, the A330 planes can hold about 300 passengers while the B747 can ferry 350 passengers.
It is also rumoured that these flights will each be making two and three trips a day respectively.
This means that the B747 alone will be able to ferry 2,100 passengers, and the A330, some 1,200 passengers a day.
In total between April 24 and May 4 (the end of the charter) an estimated 36,300 individuals will have arrived in KLIA and in Johor international airport in time for the May 5 general election.
All these flights are scheduled well after midnight and into the wee hours of the morning.
The hush-hush manner of the operations has raised questions and curiosity on the social media.
It’s a known fact that Barisan Nasional is facing a pivotal general elections and is desperately seeking to tip the scales in its favour.
And Sabah is the coalition’s famed fixed deposit of legalised illegal immigrants. Sabah has some 1.3 million illegal immigrants who hold Mykads and are now Malaysian citizens courtesy of former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad administration’s Project IC agenda in the 1990s.
Speculation is rife that these 36,300 “voters” will be placed in “borderline” constituencies in Selangor and Johor.
Selangor, BN’s crown jewel, was wrested by opposition Pakatan Rakyat in the 2008 general election. The state has 22 parlimentary and 56 states seats.
Pakatan has mounted an all-out assault on Umno’s fortress in Johor.
Johor has 26 parliamentary and 56 state seats.

I AM VERY PLEASURE SPREADING THESE GREAT NEWS! DONT MISS IT OUT!!
ReplyDelete200 PKR members from Libaran, Sandakan and Batu Sapi quit, pledge support for BN
SANDAKAN, April 26 (Bernama) -- Some 200 PKR members from Libaran, Sandakan and Batu Sapi divisions have quit the opposition party, saying they have lost confidence in the federal and state leadership.
Led by Libaran division information chief Mohd Mirudin, they pledged support for BN at a meeting with Sabah chief minister and State BN chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman here last night.
Mohd claimed the federal and Sabah PKR leadership had acted unfairly to their members.
"There's no justice in PKR. We at the grassroots have been misled and given false promises in the selection of candidates for the May 5 general election.
"Sabah PKR leaders made all sorts of promises but at the laat minute the candidates for Sabah, including for Libaran, Sandakan and Batu Sapi parliamentary seats were decided by the central leadership contrary to the promises made.
"We feel utterly disappointed and victimised," he told the meeting.
Sandakan division committee member Isnain Amat said another 400 members from the three divisions would also leave the party soon as they no longer had confidence in the leadership.
"PKR leadership has no direction to pursue a bright and prosperous future for the people, especially in Sabah." he added.
Musa, in his speech, said the move by PKR members to quit the party showed the people realised the BN had a credible leadership and an excellent service track record to administer the nation and take care of the people's well-being.
"They've confidence in BN's leadership under the stewardship of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. The BN's manifesto for the 13th general election further reinforced their trust and confidence.
"This is unlike the Opposition which does not have a proper planning and understanding among their allies. They quarrel among themselves and are unfair to their members," added Musa, who is defending his Sungai SiBuga state seat under the Libaran parliamentary constituency.
Another group of opposition members defect to BN
Loss of confidence in the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) leadership has forced a pioneer member here, Masnoddin Etir, to join the Barisan Nasional (BN).
Masnoddin led some 300 others to the meet-the-people gathering at the community hall here yesterday to submit their membership forms to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
He was also presented with the BN vest and cap, which Najib personally fixed on his head.
Masnoddin then joined Najib, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman and other BN leaders in chanting ‘Tatap BN’.
Masnoddin’s group was the latest to defect from the opposition to BN in Sabah.
On Tuesday, about 300 former members of Sabah Progressive Party and PKR in Kuala Penyu and Bongawan submitted their membership forms to Najib.
Is this really true?
ReplyDeleteStrategi seperti ni memang bertentangan dengan undang2 pilihanraya.perlu disiasat dan pastikan tidak akan berlaku.
ReplyDeletePakatan Rakyat, it seems, is already preparing for defeat in GE13, whether because of its lack of concrete and agreed policies or the endless infighting within the coalition. To protect their public image, Pakatan politicians are naturally putting the blame on the election roll for their probable defeat.
ReplyDeleteIt is said that a good carpenter never blames his tools. Yet Pakatan is ready to blame everything – other than itself of course – for its own failings. So much so that with the coalition having already seen the writing on the wall, and realising that it is heading for a loss in GE13, it is trying to prepare the public in advance by blaming the election process itself.
ReplyDeleteOpposition leaders claimed they were ready for ible November general election, but added that they were not prepared to face a "dirty election roll".
ReplyDelete"We just want clean and fair management of the elections. Is the EC ready? There are many issues they must handle such as phantom voters, immigrants given citizenship, etc, " he claimed, ignoring the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) that has already been set up by the federal Government to look into illegal immigration in Sabah.
ReplyDeletePAS is also ignoring the fact that the Government has implemented the biggest overhaul of the electoral process in a generation. With the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) making 22 recommendations in April, its reforms include the revision of the electoral roll, providing media access to all parties, and the use of indelible ink. These are all important steps in making our elections more free and fair.
ReplyDeleteBut with PAS on the back foot in the states that it rules, Kedah and Kelantan, the Islamist party has now come up with a face-saving strategy of blaming the electoral roll instead.
ReplyDeleteIf the electoral roll was really as "dirty" as Mahfuz claimed, would PAS have won the state election in Kedah in 2008? Or could it really have ruled Kelantan for the past 22 years? How do they explain that?
ReplyDeleteAttacking the electoral roll is a convenient scapegoat for PAS now that it smells defeat. Perhaps it should look at its own poor track record in these states for the reason why voters are turning against Pakatan.
ReplyDeleteThe Opposition is naturally worried that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak enjoys 64 per cent support across the country.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, Pakatan continues to trudge down the same route, trying to blame the Government instead of offering a manifesto of its own or even a shadow cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThis is the politics of negativity, and intelligent voters want policies and policy alternatives, not just negativity.
ReplyDeleteEven at this late stage, with the general election looming, Pakatan has seemed unable to offer us a manifesto or a shadow cabinet. It's clear that the divide between PAS and DAP over hudud has rendered any agreement on other issues impossible.
ReplyDeleteTry and imagine Britain's Labour Party, in opposition, not having a shadow cabinet, and when asked why not saying something as vague and meaningless as this.
ReplyDeleteInstead of blaming the electoral roll, Pakatan should get its own act together, behave like a responsible opposition as one would expect of any parliamentary democracy, and perhaps take a look inwards at itself in order to better understand the reasons for its own failure.
ReplyDeleteTadi baca berita ahli PKR keluar join Umno. So, nampak sangat umnobn bakal menang besar.

ReplyDeleteSenarai pengundi masih perlu dikemas kini. Banyak yang disyaki tidak berhak mengundi, cuma digunakan oleh pihak tertentu.
ReplyDeleteSPR juga digunakan untuk mencapai matlamat politiknya.

ReplyDeleteBangladesh's High Commissioner to Malaysia A.K.M. Atiqur Rahman repudiated Parti Keadilan Rakyat's Rafizi Ramli contention that he was merely denying the existence of illegal Bangladeshi voters, saying until now there is no evidence or report lodged to back the allegations.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking to The Mole yesterday, Atiqur Rahman said: “If anyone has the evidence of Bangladeshis being illegal voters, they should report this to the authority and the Malaysian Election Commission.”
ReplyDeleteUntil now we have received no complaint or any reports pertaining to the matter.” Atiqur Rahman reiterated his stand that the allegations are baseless.
ReplyDeleteIt’s baseless. It is impossible for us not to know if our people are being flown into this country in large numbers. But we don’t have any records about it,” he added.
ReplyDeleteHe also said it is also wrong for people to take away voting rights of anyone who has been granted Malaysian citizenship.
ReplyDelete“If there are Bangladeshis who have gained their citizenship here, they should be allowed to vote.”
ReplyDeleteOn Monday Atiqur Rahman had reportedly denied allegations of Bangladeshis voting in the May 5 polls, calling them a “mere fabrication.”
ReplyDelete“I want to clarify that it is absurd that 40,000 Bangladeshis had come to Malaysia within a week to vote. This was claimed by some in the print and online media.
ReplyDelete“Our office believes that Malaysia's and Bangladesh's laws will not allow nor approve of it,” he was quoted as saying.
ReplyDeleteIn response to Atiqur Rahman’s statement, Rafizi who is PKR strategy director, had described it as “basically a denial.”
I think whatever he (Atiqur) says is not supported by evidence. Basically, it was his denial,” Rafizi was quoted as saying in the New Straits Times.
ReplyDeleteBlogger Syed Akbar Ali had questioned on the Opposition’s claims that thousands of foreigners were flown in from East Malaysia to vote for Barisan Nasional.
ReplyDelete“How and when did the 40,000 Bangladeshis get to Kuching in the first place? Did the Bangladeshis fly direct from Bangladesh to Kuching first?” he asked.
Election Commission deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar had also said there is no police reports lodged by the Opposition despite their claims on the existence of 45,000 illegal Bangladeshi voters.
