Sex blogger also a phantom voter?

Not only was he found to be a former convict, Wan Muhammad Azri bin Wan Deris, who operates UMNO's explicit blog Papagomo, has been found to be a phantom voter as well.

Furnishing proofs to back this claim, PKR's Rafizi Ramli said Azri (left) is registered twice in the Election Commission’s database, one with his regular MyKad number and the other with his former police identity card.

In the EC’s database, Azri was listed as a postal voter in Ampang police district under police identity number RF142863.

“Then by using his identity card (830121035019), Papagomo was listed as a voter in Wangsa Maju parliamentary area,” said Rafizi.

Rafizi said he had also obtained documents to prove that Azri uses two different addresses: Taman Danau Kota and Ampang

He pointed out that Azri’s double registration confirmed suspicions on the intgrity of the electoral rolls.

“If EC does not answer this allegation, it only strengthens the perception that EC is doing its best to ensure BN wins using tainted electoral rolls,” he said.

Earlier, Harakahdaily revealed that Azri's name is listed under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's online database showing those convicted of bribery.

According to the entry (see here), Azri, slapped with a RM100 million defamation suit by Anwar yesterday, had been found guilty on two counts of bribery to release Mohd Rahyudi bin Mokhtar, who was found with syringes used for drug abuse, in 2004. -HD
