PAIRIN SHOULD EXPLAIN ON 800 METER ROAD

SABAH DAP Local Government & Housing bureau chief cum Vice Chairman Edward Ewol Mujie said that Deputy Chief Minister cum Minister of Infrastructure Development Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan did not explain the issue of the 800 meter road (Jalan Bersatu 1) costing RM2 million to be upgraded with a cost of another RM 10 million near the QH 2 (SMC) during the recent State Assembly sitting.

Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan has make known his intention to explain this issue during a press conference at the Public Works Department (PWD) meeting room here on Monday February 22, 2010 and it was published in the local newspaper issued on Tuesday February 23, 2010. However he never gives that explanation during State Legislative Assembly sitting from April 15-22, 2010.

Edward said Datuk Pairin who was formerly the Chief Minister during PBS Government and now Deputy Chief Minster in the BN Governments, in fact should shown a good example to our young generation by fulfilling his promised.

Edward said that he is not surprised at all on why Datuk Pairin did not bothered to give that explanation as he promised because there are certain facts and reason that make him difficult to explain. For example, the retaining wall is encroaching into the road reserve.

Edward said since Pairin failed to explain in the State Assembly on this issue as he promised, Sabah DAP demands him to give details on why the supposed two lane road which had become a single lane road. He should not covered up on the reasons, because he as the Infrastructure Development Minister, he is the right person to explain so. -Sabahkini

  2. Pairin.., you should fulfill your promise and do not leave them with questions. you may have your own reasons for doing so or perhaps it is considered as private and confidential, but at least give a reasonable explanation to avoid manipulated by certain parties.

  11. Pairin made promise that he will explain about the issue but during the legislation assembly, he did not bring up the issue at all.

He is the infrastructure development minister, it is his duty to bring up any relevant issue pertaining the development of public roads, facilities etc etc.

  12. Besides, he would not want anyone to question his credibility, so please do not make promises you can't keep. The people need leaders that they can trust.

  13. Edwin is damn anxious about this. I hope with their vows to perform under the 1M concept, it will be better. Of course Pairin is reluctant to be called as, dumb play numb right?

  14. Well, there should be an explanation by now..enough said, the people is anxious for an explanation..

  15. Other leaders should learn from Pairin's mistake, if you don't want your credibility to be challenged, walk the talk.

  16. Let him explain what's going on first. It's better to waste our time, making so many assumptions.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Are we making any assumptions here? We're just urging him to do the right thing.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That is why we ask him to make an explanation..it's like we're making assumption here..

  19. So what happen now? he already make any statement about this?

  20. Pairin tidak perlu jelaskan kalau tak nak. Ni jelas adalah permainan pembangkang berlagak sebagai hero kampung menarik hati rakyat bangsa KDM. Setakat 800m tu alaaa...kecik bah....cuma yalah kos pembuatan jalan 1 juta 1 km?
