SAPP Will Help SPR Register 240,000 New Voters

SABAH Progressive Party (SAPP) has put up a huge signboard at its headquarters to remind and urging the public especially the young people to get themselves registered as voters, so they can make use of their voting rights to elect a new government in the next general elections.

Its assistant secretary-general Foo Fook Ming said the next general elections is not far off so it is time to register as a voter now because the process would take around three to four months for the Election Commission (SPR) to get them listed.

“According to the SPR, there are around 240,000 citizens who have yet to register and this is a considerably sizeable amount,” Foo said.

“For those who want to register can go their district offices, post offices or the SPR offices near their areas.

“SAPP also assist citizens who want to register as voters at the various SAPP party offices as follows:

Kota Kinabalu area at SAPP HQ Office, located at Bornion Centre, Luyang (Tel: 088-242107, 088-235968)

Likas area at SAPP Likas office (Tel:088-381678)

Inanam area at SAPP Inanam office (Tel: 088-420691)

Keningau area SAPP office (087-336710)

Beaufort area SAPP office (087-222765)

All SAPP mobile service kiosks will also assist with voter registration.

“Do not miss this opportunity to determine the future of the state with your precious vote. Determine your future, do not let others determine it for you,” Foo stressed.

  2. SAPP under siapa?
